Filter Magazine is proud to present their first annual Culture Collide Music Festival which brings together the hottest bands from around the world for one weekend.

Some of the confirmed acts include Black Lips, Klaxons, Monotonix, Casiokids and Phantogram. The weekend is made up of a multicultural melting pot of musical amazingness. This event isn’t just about music, it’s about an international connection through the love of music. The participating countries—Norway, Spain, Israel, Poland, Germany, Sweden and more will bring two of its artists to Los Angeles to partner up with an American band for the showcase.

The U.S. bands along with Filter magazine will act as ambassadors throughout the festival and take the international artists under their wings to share and compare their musical journeys and creative processes. It is surprising to think that L.A. hasn’t had anything like this in the past. L.A. is not only the perfect location for an international festival but also an opportunity for us to give back and show the world what American musicians are all about. The showcase starts on October 7th and will end in Downtown LA with a block party on October 10th presented by Toyota Antics to celebrate the weekend’s festivities. Tickets will go on sale via Ticket Web on July 5th and are priced at $20 for the entire festival but pre-sale tickets are limited so get yours asap if you plan on getting one. FILTER Magazine’s Culture Collide Festival is sponsored by VTech, Dickies, Spy, BMI, Guitar Center, mike’s HARD PUNCH™, Red Bull, Converse and The Standard, Downtown LA.
