Crewest Gallery is proud to present Friends With Knives, an exhibition curated by PaperMonster which will showcase the growing genre in the art world known as stencil graffiti or stencil art. The expansion of the art form in terms of its complexity with the use of multilayers and the political and emotional messages it carries has impressed art lovers and collectors worldwide. Stencil graffiti styles include photorealism, political, pop, and abstract…who would’ve thought it doesn’t stop at simple stenciling? It is evident why stencil art continues to grow in popularity and has become one of the fastest growing street art movements in the world. Friends with Knives will be showcasing world renowned stencial artists including Blek le Rat, Broken Crow, Chris Stain, Dave Lowell, E.L.K., Greg Boudreau and more.
