Peter Saville, best known for his designs of Factory Records’ recording artists including Joy Division and New Order, is the featured artist of Arkitip No. 0049 and rightly so. He has always been rebellious against the design status quo which has defined his style and has made him stand out from the rest of the crowd. With his edgy style, he has gathered fans who eagerly awaited his next direction.

Saville’s use of visual communication for popular music draws from cultural references that viewers may not catch at first, but ultimately creates a visual influence that may have a lifelong effect. Arkitip No. 0049 includes two original prints from the designer in an edition of 1500.
