After touring his autobiographical one-man stage show “You’re Supposed To Act Impressed” across the country, the Emmy-winning painter, illustrator, puppeteer, set designer, sculptor and Southerner Wayne White brings to the Cinefamily the show’s L.A. premiere!

Originally known for his work as one of the original designers and puppeteers on “Pee Wee’s Playhouse”, White is now an internationally renowned fine artist, whose canvases featuring monolithic letters crafted onto vintage landscape paintings, and whose career has now been documented in the monograph “Maybe Now I’ll Get The Respect I So Richly Deserve”. This event promises to be a high energy-, laughter- and music-filled spectacle featuring arresting images, video clips, and puppets from the artist’s life and thirty-year career — and also features White’s skills on the harmonica and banjo!
