Naturally, I got there late. I came when others were going but still witnessed those marching for their rights and the rights of others. There was a DJ spinning and people dancing on the corner of 19th and Dolores. I still don’t understand the moment for dancing. I don’t know how to express the disappointment I feel in regards to this outrageous proposition. Someday, the population will look back on this moment in history and express towards it the current distaste and discomfort we feel when we reminisce on the days of segregation. The same question will come forth: “How did they allow it?” So many times throughout history we have asked ourselves that very same question.

I saw this one through the window working at Dior and I pulled her out. It was her first day working and she was in the middle of something but her boss was kind enough to let me borrow her for a second to take a picture. It turns out that I met her towards the end of last year through a friend.

President Bush supports bill that will triple current funding levels. The House voted Thursday to triple money to fight AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis around the world, giving new life and new punch to a program credited with saving or prolonging millions of lives in Africa alone.

The 303-115 vote sends the global AIDS bill to President Bush for his signature. Bush, who first floated the idea of a campaign against the scourge of AIDS in his 2003 State of the Union speech, supports the five-year, $48 billion plan.
